Abstract
We show the construction of twisted quantum Lax equations associated w ith quantum groups, and solve these equations using factorization prop erties of the corresponding quantum groups. Our construction generaliz es in many respects the AKS construetion for Lie groups and the constr uction of M. A. Semenov-Tian-Shansky for the Lie-Poisson case.
