Abstract
Precision measurements of the half-lives of Np-238 and Np-239 produced by alpha-decay of Am-242m and Am-243, performed by semiconductor gamm a-spectrometry with Ge(Li)-HPGe detectors. The half-lives are estimate d as 2.046+/-0.003 and 2.349+/-0.004 days for Np-238 and Np-239, respe ctively.
