Abstract
A comparative chemical study of three Chilean Cupressaceae, viz. Austr ocedrus chilensis (D. Don) Pic. Serm. et Bizarri, Fitzroya cupressoide s (Molina) Johnston y Pilgerodendron uviferum (D. Don) Florin was unde rtaken. The isolation and structural identification of terpenoids and flavonoids is reported. The compounds were isolated by chromatographic methods and characterized based on their spectroscopic data.
