Abstract
A new method for the synthesis of MoS2-electron pair donor nanocomposi tes based on the reaction of LiMoS2 with the donor in a dry non-aqueou s medium is described. The purity of products as well as the intercala tion efficiency and versatility of the method, tested for the intercal ation of styrene, ferrocene, poly(ethylene oxide) and poly(acrylonitri le), may be ascribed to the activation of the MoS2-matrix by lithium i ntercalation.
