In an investigation of the peel and pulp of the fresh ripe fruits of M
urraya paniculata nine flavonoids: 5,7,3',4',5'-pentamethoxyflavanonol
, 5,6,7,3',4',5'-hexamethoxyflavone, 3,5,6,7,3',4',5'-heptamethoxyflav
one, 5,7,8,3',4',5'-hexamethoxyflavone, 3,5,7,8,3',4',5'-heptamethoxyf
lavone, 3,5,7,8,3',4'-hexamethoxyflavone, 5-hydroxy-3,7,8,3',4'-pentam
ethoxyflavone, 5-hydroxy-3,7,8,3',4',5'-hexamethoxyflavone and 8-hydro
xy-3,5,7,3',4',5'-hexamethoxyflavone, were identified. The latter two
