Abstract
We report five patients with moyamoya associated with arterial anomali es, including five aneurysms, one with ectasia of the parent artery a basilar artery fenestration and an arteriovenous malformation. Possibl e pathogenetic factors for moyamoya are discussed, and a prenatal orig in is suggested.
