Abstract
This paper presents the main parameters of a new prism for rotating im ages in a device that uses a multielement photodetector and rotational -rotational motion of the scanned field when it is also optically rota ted. The prism excels known analogs by a factor of 1.5 in the transmis sion of radiation for an equal mass. (C) 1996 The Optical Society of A merica.
