Abstract
We discuss gauge-mediated models which employ a tree-level mass term i n the superpotential. We give explicit composite realizations in which the mass terms are not fundamental. Instead, they arise as effective terms in the superpotential from confining gauge dynamics. [S0556-2821 (98)00801-7].
