The exclusive rare radiative B decays are studied in the relativistic
independent quark model based on the confining potential in the scalar
-vector harmonic form. The relevant form factors as well as the branch
ing ratios for the processes B-0-->K(0)gamma and B+/--->K(*+/-)gamma
have been estimated in reasonable agreement with the available experim
ental data. The result compares well with several other model predicti
ons. The calculation has been extended to the CKM-favored process B-s-
->phi gamma and CKM-suppressed processes B-u,B-d-->rho gamma and B-s--
