Abstract
A case of a simultaneously bilateral putaminal haemorrhage is reported , The patient suffered from severe chronic arterial hypertension and h ad an asymptomatic carotid artery dissection, Because of a positive fa mily history of Marfan's syndrome, while lacking phenotypical stigmata , an underlying ''forme fruste'' of Marfan's syndrome may have contrib uted to this rare manifestation of haemorrhage.
