Abstract
The efficiency of the utilization of mechanical activation, a non-conv entional form of energy, is discussed in the framework of the developm ent of the fields of mechanochemistry and fullerene chemistry. It is a pplied to processes taking place within solid phases as a consequence of the influence of mechanical energy. Various types of mechanochemica l syntheses of fullerene compounds are described.
