Abstract
Two fullerene-silane compounds and their corresponding gels were synth esized. The maximum molar ratio of C-60/Si in the gel can reach a valu e of 1.6x10(-3). The optical nonlinearity of the obtained gel under pi cosecond excitation at 1.06 mu m has been studied primarily by the Z-s can technique.
