We consider the interaction of a rotating molecule with a strong linea
rly polarized light field with allowance for photodissociation, i.e.,
electronic transitions between the ground state and the lower unstable
term. Raman-type transitions between rotational levels of the ground
term caused by photodissociation are also taken into account. The rota
tional spectrum of an ion H of a hydrogen molecule is numerically simu
lated. Parameters of asymptotic dependences of the locations and width
s of modified rotational levels on the strength of the light field are
determined.
