Abstract
Ba2Mg(PO4)(2) is found to be isostructural with Ba2Ni(PO4)(2). The str ucture can be described as a three-dimensional framework of MgO6 octah edra and PO4 tetrahedra generating tunnels which accommodate Ba atoms.
