Abstract
Two isolates of Nocardia asteroides (caprine and bovine origin) were u sed to produce mastitis experimentally in lactating goats, each with h er kid. The caprine isolate produced acute clinical mastitis with syst emic reaction and was more pathogenic as compared to the bovine isolat e. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
