Abstract
Both subconjunctival and orbital hemorrhages as well as bleeding into the eyelids may occur in a variety of conditions, including vascular d isease, abnormal blood composition, systemic disease, and the so-calle d Valsalva maneuver. A case of complete spontaneous ''spectacle hemato ma'' after vigorous paroxysmal coughing is reported.
