Abstract
Seven flavonol glycosides were isolated from the leaves of T. apetalon . They were identified chromatographically and spectrally to be: querc etin/kaempferol 3-0-alpha-arabinopyranosyl-(1 --> 6)-beta-galactopyran oside (TQ and TK), quercetin/kaempferol 3-O-[2'''-O-acetyl-alpha-arabi nopyranosyl] -(1 --> 6)-beta-galactopyranoside (TAQ and TAK), querceti n 3-O-beta-glucoside (ISQ), isorhamnetin 3-O-alpha-arabinopyranosyl-(1 --> 6)-beta-galactopyranoside (TI) and isorhamnetin 3-O-[2'''-O-acety l-alpha-arabinopyranosyl]-(1 --> 6)-beta-galactopyranoside (TAI). TQ, TAQ, TI and TAI were major constituents. This is the first report on t wo new isorhamnetin-type glycosides, TI and TAI. The seven flavonol gl ycosides identical to those of T. apetalon were isolated and identifie d in the leaves of T. kamtschaticum; TQ and TAQ were also major compon ents, but TI and TAI were only minor components. TI and TAI were not d etected in the leaves of T. tschonoskii. These leaf-flavonoid patterns were discussed from a chemosystematic point of view.
