Abstract
The attempt was made to find by means of a multivariate analysis the r elations between therapy success, objective stress factors in childhoo d, internalized parental images and therapeutic alliance. Using 126 pa tients from the Berlin Psychotherapy Study a relational pattern for th e four sets of variables was found which could be interpreted in a mea ningful way and thus be used as a starting point for further therapy-d irected applications.
