Abstract
This paper presents the new Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for on-load t ap change control for distribution transformers. The model of a transf ormer with its tap changing mechanism is given first. Nest, the FLC is presented in details. The proposed algorithm is optimized from the nu merical point of view and proved to be implementable on contemporary P rogrammed Logic Controllers (PLCs). The simulation results are include d that compare the proposed control algorithm with the classical inver se-time controller and prove the efficiency of the new solution.
