ASSESSMENT OF THERMAL DETERIORATION OF TRANSMISSION-LINE CONDUCTOR BYPROBABILISTIC METHOD

A study was made on the application of the probabilistic method to eva luate the thermal deterioration of tile transmission line conductor. T he climatic data of the area concerned and the current data were colle cted. and the reduction in the tensile strength of the conductor was u sed for the representation of the deterioration of the conductor. Firs t, the static calculation was made assuming that all the data are stat istically independent. Then, another calculation, dynamic one, was mad e by using all the data independent and the results were compared with the first one.
