Abstract
Reflectivity, photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spect ra have been studied in modulation-doped CdTe/CdMgTe quantum well stru ctures containing a 2DEG of low density. Optical transitions related t o the creation of excitons. bound exciton-electron complexes (trions) and exciton cyclotron resonance (ExCR) states have been found. The mod ification of the high energy tail on the exciton absorption line into several discrete ExCR lines was observed in magnetic fields.
