Abstract
We analize semi-inclusive electron-nucleus processes e + A --> e' + h + X at moderate Q(2) and energy transfer nu. Our results show that nuc leons bound in the nuclear medium are distributed according to a funct ion f(A) that reduces to the standard light-cone distribution in the B jorken limit and exhibits a sizeable Q(2)-dependence at lower Q(2), pa rticularly when Q(2) similar to nu(2). This distribution function is e mployed to calculate the cross section of the reaction e + A --> e' p + X, in the kinematical region in which the detected proton is emitt ed backward in the target rest frame.
