Abstract
In the context of active noise control via impedance changes, we study the classical problem of a one-dimensional wave guide terminated by o ne source at each end. One of them produces the unwanted disturbance, while the impedance presented by the other is actively controlled in o rder to achieve the best noise reductions throughout the tube.
