Abstract
We report a patient in whom Il years after the treatment of a breast t umour, bilateral ovarian metastases were disclosed. Surgical explorati on confirmed unique ovarian metastases within a 'clean' abdomen and pe lvis. The particularities of this case compared with the literature ar e the rather long interval of 11 years and the fact that no other meta stases were present. The literature indeed reveals that most of the pa tient with ovarian metastases are premenopausal, have bilateral involv ement; the ovarian metastases occur within a few years and are frequen tly accompanied by other metastases.
