Abstract
Hyperbranched polymethacrylates were synthesized by group transfer sel f-condensation polymerization of 2-(2-methyl-1-triethylsiloxy-1-propen yloxy)ethyl methacrylate. The hyperbranched structure of the polymer w as characterized by C-13 NMR spectroscopy. The extent of the branching depended on the nucleophilic catalysts used for activation of the mon omer.
