We simulate maps of the microwave background radiation for a model of
inflationary primordial voids plus standard cold dark matter. For some
values of the parameters, we find in the angular power spectrum a wel
l-defined second peak at I similar to 1000, correlated with the size,
amplitude, and number of the primordial voids. The next generation of
microwave background maps will be able to test the scenario of inflati
onary first-order phase transitions.
