Abstract
The paper considers the principles, specific features and prospects fo r developing switched reluctance drives (SRD). The efficiency of elect romechanical transformation of energy is evaluated, and a number of ma thematical models are described, Results of experimental investigation s of a SRD and its functional characteristics are given.
