The aim of this article is to review the pharmacologic therapy used in
the treatment of Meniere's disease. The first portion of the article
discusses the treatment of acute labyrinthine crisis, which includes m
edication for patients that provides relief of the nausea, vomiting, a
nd vertigo that accompanies acute attack. The second half of the artic
le discusses medication used to help prevent attacks of Meniere's dise
ase.
