Abstract
The primary structure of the acidic capsular antigen of Escherichia co li O8:K41:H11 was shown by monosaccharide analysis, methylation analys is, and by 1D and 2D H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy to be composed of b ranched pentasaccharide repeating units with the structure: GRAPHICS ( C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
