Abstract
A recently proposed non-standard model solution to the problem of low semileptonic branching ratio B-SL which suggests a large branching rat io for the decay b --> sg is critically examined. It is shown that the effects of the enhanced chromomagnetic dipole operator might lead to significant violations of isospin symmetry in rare radiative decays of B-mesons.
