A study by neutron diffraction shows that the crystal structure of the
TmNiGa compound is orthorhombic with a space-group P-nma and, orders
antiferromagnetically with a Neel temperature equal to 5.5 K. The magn
etic structure is a transverse amplitude-modulated type along the b-ax
is. The Tm magnetic moment is parallel to the c-axis with a value of 7
