Abstract
This article presents up to date data on the roles and the mechanisms of action of taurine in dilated type myocardiac affections (DMA) in th e cat. After a presentation of the aetiology of feline DMA and the met abolism of taurine in the cat, the mechanisms of action of taurine in myocardiac cells will be described.
