Abstract
New versions of the UNIFAC model (UNIFAC-I and UNIFAC-II) are proposed for calculating phase equilibria in monomer-solvent-polymer systems. The modified versions and the UNIFAC-FV model are used for predicting liquid-vapor equilibria in 14 binary, ternary, and quaternary systems containing the synthesis products of styrene and ABS plastics over the temperature range 353-413 K. All the modifications account for the co ntribution associated with the change in volume caused by mixing.
