Abstract
Theoretical principles of preparation of carbon-mineral sorbents, supp orts, and highly selective catalysts of a novel class are discussed. T hese materials were prepared by decomposition of hydrocarbons on finel y dispersed metal particles to form a coke coating. The process goes b y the mechanism of carbide cycle.
