Abstract
The performance of commercial and polymeric phenolic antioxidants in p olyethylene formulations is studied by differential scanning calorimet ry under dynamic and isothermal conditions. The thermal characteristic s of stabilized formulations are determined, and heat effects of melti ng and oxidation are calculated. Based on these parameters, a performa nce series of the studied antioxidants is established.
