Abstract
The synthesis of the title propellane 3, derived from norbornene, is r eported. 3 was synthesized by dehydratation of tetraalkohol 2. On the basis of NMR and mass spectra, the possibility of the formation of pol ycyclic ethers (4) is discussed.
