Abstract
James Maclaren Industries, a newsprint producer, has developed a custo mer data system with many functions. This system stores customer comme rcial and technical data, complaints, ISO 9002 quality specification c ompliance, tracks customer complaints, customer approvals, sales and t echnical visit reports, customer certificates of analysis and product performance. The development, implementation, system functions and ben efits are explained in this paper.
