Bilateral anterior inferior cerebellar artery (AICA) territory infarct
s are rare. Their occurrence usually signifies severe intracranial ver
tebrobasilar disease. Unlike head computed tomography, magnetic resona
nce (MR) imaging reveals these infarcts clearly and MR angiography all
ows the intracranial vasculature to be defined noninvasively. We now r
eport a patient with bilateral AICA territory infarcts.
