Abstract
The pilot variant of IIG-TRRD database is presented containing informa tion on more than 60 interferon-inducible genes, Mechanisms of signal transduction from receptors to target genes are analyzed, and features of organization of regulatory regions and transcriptional regulation of interferon-inducible genes are described. Functions of some interfe ron-inducible proteins are considered. Principles of organization of g ene network regulating functioning of the interferon system are descri bed. IIG-TRRD database is available to Internet users (http://www.bion et.nsc.ru/TRRD).
