Abstract
Photorefractive two-beam coupling and internal-loop self-pumped phase conjugation have been studied at 1064 nm in Rh:BaTiO3 using radiation from a cw Nd:YAG laser. Beam-coupling gain of 575 and phase conjugate reflectivity as high as 55% are demonstrated. To our knowledge these v alues are the highest reported at 1064 nm in an intentionally doped, i nfrared sensitive BaTiO3. Data also suggests that it is possible to st abilize the phase conjugate reflectivity by vibrating the crystal.
