Results are given of quasi-isochoric pT-measurements in the liquid sin
gle-phase region of the R11 and R113 refrigerants in the temperature r
ange from 250 K To 450 K and at pressures of up to 30 MPa. The mole fr
action of the impurities the samples under study amounted to less than
0,1.10(-3). The relative uncertainty of the measurements related to t
he quotient pv/(RT) is smaller than 1,0.10(-3) on the 95 % confidence
level. The measured data can be reproduced within the scope of the unc
ertainty of measurement using a simply structured correlation equation
with II adjustable parameters. A comparison with literature shows goo
d agreement of the results with two equations of state and with experi
mental data recently published and good extrapolating behaviour to hig
her pressures of the correlation equation.
