Abstract
Schizophyllan solutions in the presence of berate ions were studied in order to evidence physical interactions occurring in aqueous media. T he experiments were conducted using viscometric measurements. Changing the added salt was found to have a dramatic effect on the properties of the solutions, and the results were interpreted in terms of water s tructure variations.
