D. Tsiklauri, 2-COMPONENT RADIATION MODEL OF THE SONOLUMINESCING BUBBLE, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 56(6), 1997, pp. 6245-6247
Based on the experimental data from Weninger, Putterman, and Barber, P
hys. Rev. E 54, R2205 (1996), we offer an alternative interpretation o
f their experimental results. A model of sonoluminescing bubble which
demonstrates that the electromagnetic radiation originates from two so
urces: the isotropic black body or bremsstrahlung emitting core and di
pole radiation-emitting shell of accelerated electrons driven by the l
iquid-bubble interface is outlined.
