The possibilities of cadmium and lead determination by electroanalytic
al methods such as differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry, sq
uare wave anodic stripping voltammetry, potentiometric stripping analy
sis and constant current stripping potentiometry in sea water, algae,
bivalves, fish and seal samples after different digestion methods (UV,
PTFE-bomb and high pressure) have been presented. The comparison with
ICP-MS and ET-AAS demonstrated the possibilities and limitations of t
hese electroanalytical approaches with respect to the trace element de
termination in real samples from marine ecosystem.
