Abstract
Coating of hand made paper and paper-composite sheets, prepared from a gricultural residues, rice straw and recycled paper pulps, was carried out using different concentrations of gelatine-hexamine mixtures. The moisture permeability and mechanical properties of the above samples were investigated. Dielectric properties of the agricultural residue p aper-sheets and paper-composite were measured and compared with those obtained using wood pulp.
