Abstract
The case of a patient who underwent simultaneous resection of two sepa rate mediastinal paragangliomas is presented. The tumors were located in the aortopulmonary window and in the right atrioventricular groove. The patient had previously undergone resection of a glomus vagale tum or. The mediastinal lesions were removed with the aid of cardiopulmona ry bypass, and the patient is doing well postoperatively. (C) 1997 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
