Abstract
Heating a solution of indium tribromide in bis(trimethylsilyl)amine at about 55 degrees C for 30 to 35 hours the two adducts Br3In . NH2SiMe 3 and Br3In . NH(SiMe3)(2) are formed in a 3:1 molar ratio. both compo unds have been characterized by NMR, IR and Raman spectra; the X-ray s tructure determination of the title compound is reported.
