Abstract
There are methods that can be used to optimize clarifier and filter pr ess efficiency, By optimizing settling performance, solids loading and sludge withdrawal rates, the equipment can be fine-tuned to optimize its fullest potential, The ability to dewater sludge, however, is usua lly another limiting factor, Simple tests that are easily performed ma y be used to determine these factors, and optimize the efficiency of t he system.
