Abstract
We use Temperley' methodology in order to find a functional equation w hose solution is the directed column-convex polyominoes' generating fu nction. From this equation we deduce the average height of directed co lumn-convex polyominoes having a fired area. Furthermore, we enumerate these polyominoes according to their height.
