Abstract
The frequency of a laser diode (LD) with an intracavity cesium cell wa s stabilized optically by the nature of the atoms in the cell, The inj ection current and the position of the reflecting mirror were simultan eously controlled to maintain the optimum condition by modulating the injection current and using the phase sensitive detection, The experim ental setup was simple and the linewidth became narrower than 100 kHz.
